By using KindleDrop ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, you may not use the Service.

Service Description

KindleDrop is a file transfer service that allows you to:

Upload ebook files (PDF, EPUB, MOBI, DOCX, HTML, TXT, etc.)
Automatically convert files to Kindle-compatible format (AZW3)
Download files on your Kindle device using a simple code
Share download links with others

Usage Limits

To ensure fair usage and prevent abuse, the following limits apply:

Batch size: Maximum 100 MB total per batch
File count: Maximum 10 files per upload session
Rate limits: 20 uploads per hour, 60 requests per minute per IP address
Code validity: Download codes expire after 1 hour
File retention: Files are automatically deleted after 24 hours

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Upload files you don't have the right to distribute
Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Use the Service to violate copyright laws
Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures
Use the Service for commercial file distribution
Abuse, harass, or harm other users
Reverse engineer or attempt to access the Service's source code

Copyright and Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the files you upload. By using KindleDrop, you:

Confirm you own the files or have permission to share them
Grant us a temporary license to store and convert your files
Understand that anyone with your download code can access your files
Accept responsibility for copyright violations

File Conversion

We automatically convert certain file formats (EPUB, MOBI, DOCX, HTML, TXT, etc.) to Kindle-compatible AZW3 format using Calibre. While we strive for accurate conversion, we cannot guarantee perfect formatting. The original file is not retained after conversion.

No Warranty

KindleDrop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including:

No guarantee of uptime or availability
No guarantee of successful file conversion
No guarantee that files will be compatible with your Kindle
No guarantee against data loss
No guarantee of security against unauthorized access

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of KindleDrop, including but not limited to: data loss, copyright violations, malware, service interruptions, or any other direct or indirect damages. Use the Service at your own risk.

Data Deletion

Files are automatically deleted after 24 hours. Download codes expire after 1 hour and cannot be recovered. We cannot restore expired or deleted data. Back up important files before uploading.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service is operated. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
